Preliminary Procedures
Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding Replacement.
- Outside Rearview Mirror Bolt [3x]
CAUTION:
Fastener Caution.
Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Outside Rearview Mirror
Procedure
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Unlock the retaining tabs.
- {If equipped} Side View Driver Information Camera - Programming and
Setup.
OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR HOUSING UPPER COVER REPLACEMENT
Preliminary Procedure
Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement.
- Outside Rearview Mirror Upper Housing Cover
Procedure
- Apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the
painted
surfaces.
- Release the retaining tabs.
- Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove.
OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR HOUSING BEZEL REPLACEMENT
Preliminary Procedure
Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover Replacement.
- Outside Rearview Mirror Opening Applique Bolt [3x]
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution.
Tighten
0.9 N.m (8 lb in)
- Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Bezel
Procedure
Release the retaining tabs.
OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT
Preliminary Procedure
Outside Rearview Mirror Housing Upper Cover Replacement.
- Outside Rearview Mirror Actuator Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution.
Tighten
1.2 N.m (11 lb in)
- Outside Rearview Mirror Actuator
Procedure
- Release the retaining tab.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR GLASS REPLACEMENT
- Outside Rearview Mirror Glass

- Release the mirror glass backing from the mirror housing by pulling
outward.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
